Common Conditions

Patients can access the NHS Pharmacy First service for the following conditions:

  • Acute Otitis Media (1 to 17 years).
  • Impetigo (1 year and over).
  • Infected insect bite (1 year and over).
  • Shingles (18 years and over).
  • Sinusitis (12 years and over).
  • Sore throat (5 years and over).
  • Uncomplicated Urinary Tract Infections in women aged 16-64.

* Under each of these conditions, our pharmacist will be able to prescribe certain prescription-only medicines.

Advice from our pharmacist is always free. You will be seen promptly by a member of our pharmacy team and you can ask to be seen in private in our Consultation Room.
